The Calendar has our next activity listed as the Movie under the stars-this has been moved to October and the September activity will now be the Redneck Olympics on Sept. 15th from 1-3 (ish) at my mom's house in Goshen.  The address is 10686 Eltzroth Rd. One of the most prominent Athiests other than Darwin that you probably have never heard of is a man name Antony Flew-He decided at the age of 15 to become an athiest and put his full trust in Darwin's theory of evolution-throughout his life he wrote 10 books promoting Athiesm and staged many debates on the subject. At the age of 81 after 64 years of being a staunch activist athiest-(without becoming born again) -through the modern study of the complexity of DNA he abandoned both evolution and athiesm-here are 2 of his more telling quotes-"What I think the DNA Material has done is show that intelligence must have been involved in getting these extraordinary diverse elements together" - "Science does not support Evolution in ANY WAY, In fact Science does more to prove that evolution is NOT POSSIBLE than the other way around"

Camp week at Camp Canaan in Somerset ky - Looking forward to recharging my spiritual batteries. I will be adding some content to the blog this week and hope to start being more consistent with it so we can use it as a tool to grow the youth group and ultimately reach more souls for Christ in the coming days. Activity Change June 22nd

The June 22nd activity will now be a Putt Putt activity at Eastgate Adventures - 1 round off Putt Putt included for all Teens- Parents are welcome to attend and participate however only members of class round of putt putt is paid for. Any additional go-carting or golf will by at your expense. This activity replaces the rescheduled Red's game that will now take place in August. Stay tuned! Thank you for your faithfulness!

The youth service is already upon us! Next Sunday evening please try to be at the church at 4:30 to go over a few things to prepare for the evening service, if you cannot be there at 4:30 please be there as early as possible. If you have questions or concerns please contact myself or Ashley as soon as you can.

Point breakdown as follows:

Church attendance- 1 point per service per week
Bible-1 point for having Bible in Sunday school
Memory Verse- Memorize Weekly bible verse 5 points
Week 1 memory verse (say it next week) Psalm 37:23
Week 2 memory verse Psalm 37:24
Week 3 memory verse I Timothy 4:12
Bonus Scripture memory John 10:9,10 (can be said anytime during the contest to qualify for points)
Bringing Friends- 5 points (each)
Guidelines – friend must be in our class age range (12-21-ish) -cannot have attended in the past 6 months

Brother Matt Trivia-I will be asking a handful of trivia questions about myself or things that I have mentioned during a lesson that I have taught, possibly the week before- Weekly winner will receive a prize and 5 points.

Starting April 8th Weekly prizes will be given for whoever is currently in the lead-the last sunday of the contest will be April 29th and we will go on the Grand prize trip sometime in May.

Valentines Day Murder Mystery

I cannot express to you all how proud I am of your performance this evening. I know that I am demanding and that you many of you were out of your comfort zone but know this each and every one of you did a fantastic job. Many of the adults came to me afterwards raving about each one of you and told me how much fun they had, I'm sure that it is an evening they will not soon forget.
