Finding God’s Perfect Will For Your Life

Acts 9:1-19

Finding God’s perfect will for your life boils down to 2 main Steps – Asking the right questions and doing right things according to the word of God- A deviation to these 2 basic keys could cause you to miss the mark –

Questions that need to be asked and answers that must be provided:

1. Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?  Acts 9:6 –

 

We are not to tell the Lord what we want to do or what his will should be for our lives, it should simply be “Lord, What do you want me to do”?

Through scripture reading, faithfulness to the church Christ gave his life for, and a Willingness to serve when called upon with start to lead you towards God’s perfect will for your life –anything that leads you astray from that goal must be evicted from your life.

2. The Lord has a question to:  “Whom shall I send”?

Isaiah 6: ⁸ Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me

Actions That need to be done and avoided:

Phil 3:14-21

1. Realize God Has a Purpose for Your life-Specifically

V. 14- Press towards the Mark- You must do your part in order for the Lord to do his part

V 16- Be consistent in your Walk with the Lord

2. Recognize Obstacles on your path to God’s Perfect will for your life

V 18- Be aware of the enemy

V19- Identify Worldly behavior in your life

V20-21- Rely on the Lord to give you the strength to stay on the right path
