Evolution Vs. Creation Week 1

Why Evolution?

One of the most prominent Athiests other than Darwin that you probably have never heard of is a man name Antony Flew-He decided at the age of 15 to become an athiest and put his full trust in Darwin's theory of evolution-throughout his life he wrote 10 books promoting Athiesm and staged many debates on the subject. At the age of 81 after 64 years of being a staunch activist athiest-(without becoming born again) -through the modern study of the complexity of DNA he abandoned both evolution and athiesm-here are 2 of his more telling quotes-"What I think the DNA Material has done is show that intelligence must have been involved in getting these extraordinary diverse elements together" - "Science does not support Evolution in ANY WAY, In fact Science does more to prove that evolution is NOT POSSIBLE than the other way around"

August 5th SS Lesson -Get Blessed

How to Get BLESSED  (A Sunday School Lesson by Brother Matt)

Checked out #blessed on twitter as I typed my lesson- here are some of the items that people were feeling blessed about-Good Friends, Free Food (count me in!) , A good Pastor, Great Stepmom, Being Alive, God's Peace, A decision to Follow Jesus, Cookie Dough
People have very different ideas about what makes them blessed, interesting thing missing from the list was money-(nothing to do with the lesson, just a midnight observation)
What is the Bibles Plan for Getting Blessed?

August is Truth about Evolution month in teen class!

The Following are quotes by several Non-Christian writers, Scientists and some Christian Writers-Including the Author of the Origin of the Species himself-giving us ammunition against his own THEORY!

God is the Creator!

Camp week at Camp Canaan in Somerset ky - Looking forward to recharging my spiritual batteries. I will be adding some content to the blog this week and hope to start being more consistent with it so we can use it as a tool to grow the youth group and ultimately reach more souls for Christ in the coming days. Over and out (of town that is)
